About
I grew up in Colorado on the lands of the Chaa (Cheyenne), Hinono’ei (Arapaho), and Ute peoples. This is where I was first exposed to the treasures of the outdoors. Following in my maternal lineage’s footsteps, I worked for almost a decade in various roles with adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
More recently, I have transitioned to the environmental justice field, where I found my life truly feels rooted in supporting others to design and access a better, more sustainable future for our planet.
With a background in macro social work and having worked in the environmental justice field for over five years, I am passionate about the impact access to nature has on our overall well-being. I love helping individuals and communities at large to improve themselves, their families, and environment to be healthier, safer, and more deeply rooted.
I have my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, I am a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, and have gone through multiple continuing education programs focused on climate change and the environment.
In my free time, I am an avid trail runner, yogi, open-water swimmer, and hybrid athlete.
